Dakota Ford picked up points in all three games played over the weekend, not bad for a 1995-born defenseman. He picked up an assist against Portland, followed it up with two more assists against the Bandits, and then scored the game-winner against the Warriors. Ford came over to the Islanders from Gunnery and has been getting better all season long. He is starting to garner the interest of a number of Division one schools and deservedly so. Much will be expected of the Potsdam, NY, native in the upcoming season.
