After a scoreless first half, the Islanders came out flying
scoring in the first shift of the second half. Justin Provencher ripped one past
Portland tender from the top of the circles after receiving a pass from Bobo
Carpenter and Matt Dillon.
About ten minutes later, Mark Campbell helped add some
relief when he banged in a rebound goal form Bobo Carpenter and Patrick Lemoges.
Just a few shifts later Richie Greenberg finished the scoring beating Portlands
goalie glove side on a fast break created by Brandon Ecklund and Dillon
Vrees.
The Islanders U18 move to 4-3-1 on the season and head to
the Bog Saturday for a USPHL league game vs the Breakers @ 750pm.
