The Islanders Hockey Club (IHC) is proud to announce the signing of Jay Cote.  The Terrebonne, QC native is currently registering a point per game as a senior for Tabor Academy.  Only a 99, much will be expected from Cote, as the IHC will prepare him for the rigors of Hockey East as he is a University of Vermont recruit.  "Jay really fits into the type of game we play, and he is an outstanding young man," stated GM/Head Coach Sean Tremblay.  "He reminds me so much of Cam Brown (Sr Captain at Maine) when he played for me, virtually impossible to touch and when you do it really doesn't matter because of the compete level Jay possesses.  His speed and skill will enhance our team and I truly look forward to working with him before he heads to UVM.  Couple that with the fact any player coming from Coach Gerry Dineen out of Tabor knows the game well and more importantly how to play on a day to day basis; we couldn't be happier with our first tender of the season."
