The first year Jr. Huskies have made a number of roster changes over the season and seem to have finally found the right combination. The teams play over the past two weekends has moved them into second place in the eastern conference. Strong puck movement, team off-ice conditioning program and team play has helped the team develop team chemistry and focus. Part of the chemistry and focus is because of the hard work of Captain Jim Delaney and the other junior veteran players working with and teaching the younger player what it takes to be a successful Junior hockey player.
Evgeniy Limansky had 5 points (4 goals and 1 assist) this past week. His electric skating, puck movement, solid shot and endless energy led the team to a weekend sweep of the Buffalo Stars. On Sunday, his back to back goals helped spark his team to a hard fought 5-3 victory over Buffalo.
