14 April, 2010 by jrhuskies Former Huskies forward and EJHL All-star Alex Muse is the latest alum to earn post- season accolades. Muse joins Player of the year David Martinson and RIT Frozen Four hero Cam Burt on the list of Huskies capping stellar college careers. New England College men’s ice hockey senior forward Alex Muse has been named to the Second Team All-ECAC East Team for his performance this season. This honor is bestowed upon Muse from the New England Hockey Writer's Guild and is presented at their annual dinner banquet. Muse leads the Pilgrims in almost every offensive category, including total points with 34 and goals with 18. Alex is also ranked second on the team in assists with 16 on the season. In addition to leading the Pilgrims, Muse is ranked first in the ECAC East with 11 power-play goals and is ranked fourth in the conference in scoring averaging 1.31 points per game. Over his four year career at NEC Muse has played in 98 games and amassed 83 points, including 34 goals and 49 assists.
