New England Huskies defenseman Whitney Olsen has committed to play for AIC in the Atlantic Hockey League. The Eagan MN native made the choice after speaking with AIC Head Coach Gary Wright.

Olsen played 2 years with the Huskies in the EJHL after starring at Eagan HS. He was third in team scoring with a 7-20-27 line in 39 games in 09-10. “We converted Whitney to defense with the feeling that he could have a stronger impact on the game and showcase his strong skill-set. He has great sense and simply put he is a hockey player,” commented Huskies Coach Paul Jenkins.
“Whit came east to the EJ hoping to play DI hockey and he earned a spot. We could not be happier for Whitney and the Olsen family,” added Jenkins
