As the Huskies put a close to their season at the end of the month they find themselves in an unfamiliar spot--out of the playoffs. For the first time in nearly 14 years the Huskies have failed to earn a spot in the post season tourney.

"We're confident in a turn around next season. I have signed some outstanding talent so far. This type of season won't happen again," stated Paul Jenkins.

Jenkins also added that with a full team turn over that occurs in junior hockey the new club will be able to forge their own path. "I am excited. I have had a number of talks with the DI coaches in our area and they love some of the guys we have coming in"

Look for 2010-2011 to be the start of another string of post season births.
