The Huskies knotted up division leader NH Monarchs in matinee tilt at Hooksett, NH. Goaltender Mike Reed stopped 49 shots in the Huskies net.

The Huskies drew first blood on the power play when winger Kyle Schultz potted a Steve Ginand point shot rebound. Huck Saunders gave the Huskies a 2-0 lead just 2 minutes later with Whitney Olsen and Sean Sullivan assisting. In the second period the Huskies stretched the lead to 3-0 When Kevin Gaughran found the back of the net.
The Monarchs cut the lead the 3-2 with 2 goals 15 seconds apart. New Hampshire scored the lone goal of the 3rd period to knot the game at 3-3. The Huskies were perfect on the penalty kill for the afternoon.
