Huskies center iceman Matt Lemire netted a power play goal 2 minutes into the first frame to stake the Huskies a 1-0 lead. Whitney Olsen and Tom-Patric Kimmel assisted on the play. Wyer then slammed the door. Huskies outshot Valley 41 to 19 during the contest. Valley tied the game at one apiece to end the first period and then scored two in the third to stretch the lead to 3-1. A late ENG closed out the game scoring.
