Worcester’s Mark Hochman backstopped the IHC to a weekend sweep of visiting Connecticut Oilers in EJHL action and in the process moved himself up the ranks of the top goaltenders in the league.

Hochman allowed three goals over the weekend in leading the club to 3-1 and 4-2 wins over the visitors from the EJ South Division.  Saturdays tilt saw the Isles jump out to a 3-0 lead on tallies from Mike Jamieson, Garrett Cox and Ian McGilvrey before a late Oiler goal broke through to set the score.

On Sunday the Isles again set the scoring pace and established a four goal lead late in the second period.  Chris Izmirlian, Brendan Robbins, Garrett Cox and Mike Doherty scored for the IHC before Conn. popped two.  Hochman stopped 32 and 34 respectively in the wins.
