Manglerud’s Andresen Expected to Battle for EJHL Spot

The Islanders Hockey Club and Head of Hockey Operations Paul Jenkins are pleased to announce the addition of Norway forward Niklas Andresen.  Jenkins and Director and Head Coach of the U18/U16 Islanders Nate Bostic worked with Andresen on their recent visit to Norway and came away impressed.

“Niklas has been playing with one of the top clubs in Norway and has international experience with the Norway National Program.   This is a fantastic pickup.  I’m very happy for Coach Bostic and his program” commented Jenkins.

Andresen is 6’1 and a powerful skater with a soft set of hands.  “I am excited to get him in our off-ice training program because I think he will explode as a player, “ Bostic said.  “He is coming here because he wants to be a hockey player plain and simple.  We expect him to move to the EJHL Islanders.”

Andresen speaks excellent English and is a strong student.  Welcome aboard Niklas!
