Auburn MA native and Islanders HC center Patrick Germain has accepted an offer to play and matriculate at MASCAC Worcester State University for the fall of 2015. Germain has played through the IHC system with the 18U before playing for the Elite program. He has a 59.7% face-off win rate and is the second leading scorer on the club. He is also an excellent penalty killer and can contribute to any line. Islander coach Jenkins commented, “The staff at Worcester State knows what they are getting with Pat. When he jumps the boards he brings a high compete level in practice and games. Knowing the new staff at WSU, Pat will be a reflection of how the coaches played the game in their day.”
