Feb. 25: Junior forward Tommy Thompson was selected as ECAC Player of the Week and freshman forward Mike Marnell was tabbed ECAC Rookie of the Week in voting by the league's coaches following a weekend sweep of Harvard and Dartmouth. The Saints, who clinched second place in the final league standings and could still share the Cleary Cup as regular-season champions, swept a league series for the fifth time this season and improved to 10-2-1 in their last 13 league games with the 5-1 win over Harvard and 6-3 victory over Dartmouth. Thompson, currently eighth in league scoring with 18 points, had a goal each night and had two assists against Harvard to earn his first Player of the Week honor. His three point night against Harvard was his most productive of the season thus far and his fifth multi-point night of the year.
