Nate enters his 8th season Coaching Juniors/Midget Hockey and his 7th season with the Islanders Organization. For the past four seasons Nate has been Director / Head Coach for both the U18 and U16 Midget Major and Minor hockey programs. Previously, Nate served as the Coach and Director of Player Personnel for the N.E. Huskies of the Eastern Junior Hockey League for two seasons (2010-12) and Volunteer Assistant with Walpole Express in 09'. Before Coaching, Nate played professionally in the CHL and SPHL after signing an ATO for the Worcester Sharks of the AHL. He was recruited and played at Niagara University where his teams won the CHA Regular Season Title in 2007, CHA Championship in 2008 and played in the NCAA DI tournament in 2008. Before Niagara University he played 3 seasons in the EJHL and was a two-time All Star while serving as the captain of the 2005/06 N.E. Huskies team. Prior to his junior career Nate played Mass High School Hockey at Wachusett Regional HS where he was named to the Mass All-Star Team and captured the Hockey Night in Boston Major Showcase scoring title in 2003. Nate is a Worcester, MA native and now lives in Stoneham, MA.
Eric enters his 4th season coaching with the Islanders Hockey Club as the Assistant Coach with the Islanders Hockey Club U18/U16 teams. He attended and played high school hockey at Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody MA. When Eric graduated in 2006 he was the Senior Captain and was Catholic League All Star. Eric played junior hockey with Valley Jr Warriors where he was Captain before moving on to Framingham State University playing all 4 years for the college and graduating in 2013. Eric is a Haverhill, MA native where he continues to live.
Derek enters his 4th season as the Islanders U18/U16 assistant coach. He played 3 seasons for the Islanders organization under the former N.E. Jr. Huskies. Derek played for many of the current Islanders coaching staff. In addition to playing throughout these seasons, Derek coached various camps, clinics, and summer hockey programs in conjunction with the Islanders. After completing his Jr. Hockey career he moved on to pursue his education at Merrimack College (MC). Derek, currently a senior at Merrimack, is on his way to obtaining a degree in health science with a concentration in nutrition and a minor in biology.
Tom enters his 3rd season working with the Islanders Hockey Club Junior and Midget program serving as a scout and manager.
