The Islanders Hockey Club is pleased to announce the signing of Nick Parody.  Nick, a 6'3 / 195 left shot defensemen out of the Canterbury School is another key addition to the 2017-18 IHC lineup.  Already garnering Division I interest, things will surely pick up for this elite defensemen.  "Nick wants to be an Islanders and as a staff we appreciate that in him," stated GM/Head Coach Sean Tremblay.  "He is a big, strong skater with a strong stick and his addition to the team will ensure we have one of the best d-corps in the league again.  Nick skated with our team and all of our current players were impressed by him.  He played for our Little Islanders Showcase Team in the fall and my brother Jason absolutely loved Nick as a player and as a person.  He is extremely reliable and will flourish in our system.  I can't wait to have Coach Dyment get with him on a daily basis and see just how far his game will evolve."
