North Andover, MA – The Islanders Hockey Club is proud to announce that Premier Forward Jason Bilski has officially committed to the Castleton State Spartans.

Bilski a native from Pittsburgh, PA has had an outstanding second season with the IHC Premier team – leading the team with 17 goals, while adding 9 assists for 26 PTS in 29 Games. “He’s a pure power forward – he has an incredible work rate and really knows how to use his 6 ft 3 – 210 LBS body to his advantage.” said IHC Head Coach Tim Kyrkostas. “Jason actually came into our program last year as a defenseman and we converted him to a forward and he’s been nothing but dominate ever since the move - He’s one of our key focal points on the Power Play as he’s a hard body to deal with in front of the net – evidence by his 4 Power Play goals that he’s scored so far - added Kyrkostas.”

“I have really loved my time playing for the Islanders, Coach Tim Kyrkostas and Coach Peter Wallack have been so helpful to me and my family through the entire college process and I am so excited to have made my decision to play for Castleton next year.

“We are excited Jason is joining the Spartan family. He plays a hard-nosed 200 foot game and we expect him to contribute right away.” – said Castleton Head Coach Billy Silengo.

The Islanders Hockey Club wishes Jason and his family the best of luck and congratulations on his college commitment.

This marks the 4th college commitment thus far for the Islanders Premier Hockey Club with a large number expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
