North Andover, MA – The Islanders Hockey Club is proud to announce that Premier Defenseman Trevor Hott has officially committed to the Saint Anselm Hockey Program for the fall of 2018.

Hott a native of Idaho Falls, ID has had an outstanding career with the IHC Program.  The 6 Ft 6 Inch 210-pound Defenseman has moved up the ranks over his three years with the IHC moving up from the Empire, Elite then to Premier he has appeared to date in 75 Games, scoring 5 goals while picking up 29 assists for 34 PTS. “Trevor has an incredible work ethic and desire to get better! He’s really impressed me with his approach towards getting better over the last two years - in doing so he’s now developed into a solid reliable defenseman who I trust in every situation of the game.” Said Head Coach Tim Kyrkostas – I think he still has another level that he can and will take his game to over the next 4 years. He’s such a wonderful kid off the ice as well. He’s a natural leader who’s going to do some great things for coach Tortorella at St. A’s – added Kyrkostas.

“Playing for the Islanders Hockey Club over these previous three years has helped me develop as a player and a person. I can’t thank everyone enough my time here has ultimately helped me achieve my goal of playing NCAA College Hockey. I would like to thank Coach Tim Kyrkostas, Coach Peter Wallack and Coach Brian Umansky for helping me achieve my dream.”

The Islanders Hockey Club would like to congratulate and wish Trevor and his family the best of luck with his collegiate career.

This marks the 7th college commitment thus far for the Islanders Premier Hockey Club with a few more expected to be announced this week.
