The IHC Alum had Strong Friday Night

North Andover, MA – The IHC Alumni had a strong showing last night with many earning points and wins for their respective teams.  Some even went head to head in games, which is always fun to see.

2 shots were also fired by Zach Sanford as he and the St. Louis Blues defeated the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 in OT.

Lucas Michaud piled 6 shots for Trinity, but he and his teammates had a hard time getting the puck past Hamilton netminder Anthony Tirabassi as he stopped an astonishing 50 shots in a 2-2 tie.  Mike O’Brien also had a shot from the blueline in the game.

In other NESCAC action Charlie Borek scored a goal in a 6-2 Tufts win over Williams.  Also Owen Powers and Mitch Allen played together on the top line for Middlebury and they paced the team with 11 shots between them helping them to a 4-2 win over Conn College.

Brendan van Riemsdyk helped UNH tie Providence 1-1 when he scored a shorthanded goal in the second period.

Louis Felix St-Jean notched his first collegiate shutout just one month into his college career with a 5-0 win over Becker.  His fellow Salve Regina teammates all played well with Matt Dillon earning three assists.  John McLean, George Sennott, Brent Hill, and JJ Layton had 20 shots between them all for Head Coach Zech Klann.

Ethan Nitkin popped home a goal against former teammate Alex Connal in a 4-2 win for UMass Boston over Hobart.  Connal was tough to beat stopping 32 shots and allowing only 3 goals.

Austin Goldstein (Northeastern), Brent Beaudoin (Brown), Brendan Soucie (Army) and Mark Cheremeta (Boston University) all performed well notching 1, 2, 2, and 2 shots respectively.
