TIM KYRKOSTAS, GM/HEAD COACH NCDC-U16 National

Tim enters his 8th season with the Islanders Hockey Club this season bringing to the Club a wealth of hockey knowledge and experience. During the years 2010 - 2016 Tim served as the Director of Hockey Operations for the Palm Beach Blackhawks Youth Travel Hockey Program & The Palm Beach Jr. Hawks USPHL program where he led the Hawks USPHL Elite Team to a 75-32-20 record over the last three seasons.   Coach Kyrkostas was a member of the 1996 NY Apple Core Junior B National Championship team and a member of the 2000 Norwich University Division III NCAA National Championship team from there was invited and participated in the Washington Capitals Rookie Camp in 2002.

TIM PELLETIER, U18 National Head Coach / NCDC Assistant Coach

Tim is entering his 10th season coaching with the Islanders Hockey Club Midget Program and 2nd as an assistant with the NCDC team. Tim has coached at the college, junior and high school levels for the past 20 years.   Along with coaching in the Islanders organization Tim will also serve as the Director for the Islanders West youth program based in Tyngsboro, MA.  Prior to working with the Islanders he was the head coach for the NE Jr. Huskies Empire team for 4 season,  assistant coach with St. Anselm College (2007-08), and served on the junior staff for the Valley Jr. Warriors for 3 seasons.   Tim graduated and played four years of collegiate hockey at Plattsburg State University along with being named captain his senior season. Prior to Plattsburgh State Tim played his high school hockey locally with Bishop Guertin HS and then attended the Trinity-Pawling School for a post graduate year.  Tim is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach and now lives in Pelham, NH with his wife, Kris, and four children Nicole, Anthony, Nolan, and Aimee.

JAY PUNSKY, Premier Head Coach / Elite GM

Coach Punsky is entering his 4rd season with the Islanders Hockey Club. In his first 3 seasons with IHC Coach Punsky lead the Premier and Elite teams to three straight National Championship appearances. This includes 2 Divisional Championships for the Elite team and 1 for the Premier. In addition to coaching with IHC, Coach Punsky is also the Men’s Head Coach for NCAA D3 Worcester State University.

Prior to working with the Islanders, he served as Head Coach of the Boston Bandits Premier & Elite teams from 2017-2020 as well as Assistant Coach of the NCDC team and Director of Goaltending. He was the General Manager of the Bandits’ NCDC team for the 2019-20 season. Under Coach Punsky’s leadership the Bandits’ Premier team went to the Final Four of the 2019 National Championship. From 2015-2017 he served as Head Coach of the Cape Cod Islanders Junior A team, leading them to a conference championship victory in 2016. He was named NA3EHL ‘Coach of the Year’ in 2016. He also served as Premier Assistant coach for the Bay State Breakers from 2013-15. Coach Punsky has over 15 years of coaching experience, a career record of 409-153-40, and a Master’s degree in Sports Management with a concentration in coaching from New England College. He received dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and administration of justice from Salve Regina University. Jay is a level 4 USA hockey certified coach and lives in Taunton, MA with his wife Bonnie, daughter Grace and son Jack.
